The ANSWER. My department really supervised some institutes, but in overwhelming majority of cases we only gave grants
to centres of science for performance of researches necessary for us. And in relation to them I carried out only the general
management of works, without going into detail.

QUESTION. What can you tell about the sixth laboratory? The ANSWER. About it I have learnt only after proisshedshej
there accidents. Its researches were not included into the competence of my department. With professor Nejshtadtom it was
not familiar.
QUESTION. You here heard indications of professor Mikoelsa. He asserts that the sixth laboratory submitted to the Ministry
of Defence and reports on results of its researches were received by directly your department.
The ANSWER. I can repeat: I knew nothing about activity of the sixth laboratory. If such reports also existed, I them did not
see.
QUESTION. What can you tell about causes of death of the sixth laboratory? The ANSWER. Right after accidents we have
made investigation. Experts do not have common opinion.

SIXTH LABORATORY of the SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL COMPLEX "UMBRELLA" of Frederik Spenser Nejshtadt was
